The Generic Compatible SFP-DD to QSFP28 Active Optical Cable is a parallel 100Gb/s twin small form-factor, hot-pluggable 850nm AOC. It integrates dual 850nm VCSEL lasers and PIN photodetectors, with the SFP-DD port supporting PAM4 modulation at up to 53.125Gbps per channel, and the QSFP28 port supporting NRZ modulation at up to 25.78Gbps per channel, delivering an aggregate data rate of 100Gbps. The electrical interface uses a 38@QSFP28 and 40@SFP-DD contact edge type connector. It is compliant with the hot-pluggable SFP-DD and QSFP28 MSA standards and the RoHS6 environmental standard (lead-free). The built-in digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM) enables access to real-time operating parameters.
