Customized 1+1 BIDI Optical Line Protection Switch (OLP) for FMT Managed Chassis

OLP (Optical Line Protection) is a product that is used in the protection of network transmission line. Designed for maximum configuration flexibility, this module can plug directly into the FMT managed chassis, each module occupying one slot. It is used in conjunction with Splitter to form BIDI OLP, which is suitable for the fiber resource scarcity. The OLP can realize optical power monitoring and automatic switching. When a fault occurs on the primary optical fiber, it will automatically switch to the secondary optical fiber at the receiver end, ensuring uninterrupted communication, improving the stability and reliability of the communication system, and saving fiber resources.


This module can facilitate an integrated cost-effective and flexible optical layer solution by incorporating a variety of optical layer boards, such as OEO/EDFA/DCM/MUX/OSW/R/B, and can be applied to DWDM single-fiber/optical cable monitoring systems, to meet the diverse needs of scenarios.When a fault occurs on the primary optical fiber, it will automatically switch to the secondary optical fiber at the receiver end, ensuring uninterrupted communication, improving the stability and reliability of the communication system, and saving fiber resources.
