The NVIDIA/Mellanox 200G QSFP56 DAC cables serve as a critical high-speed interconnect component within NVIDIA DGX Spark AI clusters. They provide precise adaptation and 200Gb/s connectivity for typical short-reach links (≤0.5 m) between two DGX Spark systems, and are also used to connect multiple DGX Spark nodes to a 200G switch, forming a desktop-level AI cluster.
Additionally, these cables are suitable for establishing 200Gb/s links between the QSFP-200G ports of switches and routers within the same rack or across adjacent racks.
