The MMC-1S1XMG-SIM Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter bridges 1x 10GBase-X SFP+ to 1x 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10GBase-T RJ45 port, enabling fiber extensions dependent on SFP modules. It is equipped with automatic MDI/MDI-X configuration and auto-negotiation with the option to set the fiber port to operate in either half-duplex or full-duplex mode. This model connects two network segments and can be used either as a standalone unmanaged media converter or as a slide-in module in a 2U 16-slot managed chassis. In the chassis, it supports centralized remote management via the Web Smart/Managed Media Converter Chassis System (MC-16DP) for real-time monitoring and flexible configuration from any location.
