The customized Mux Demux, based on AAWG (Gaussian)/TFF (Thin Film Filter), is a passive DWDM device featuring high density, low loss, and long-haul transmission suitability. Optional expansion/1310nm ports enable channel growth, while monitor port supports downtime-free troubleshooting. In addition, this unit can act as a Mux or Demux. It combines 4-96 channels of DWDM wavelengths into one composite signal and separates the combined signal into 4-96 individual wavelengths over single-mode optical fiber. Compliant with the ITU-T G.694.1, it maximizes the C-band range capacity. Moreover, this product is available in FMU or FHD® plug-in module, 1U/2U rack mount, and ABS module.
It supports 1G/10G/25G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, 1/2/4/8/16G Fiber Channel, FTTx, and CATV. When deployed with FS DWDM optical transceivers, OEO, EDFA, and OADM modules, the Mux Demux seamlessly enables flexible network architectures ranging from simple point-to-point connections to amplified ring configurations.
