The customized OADM, based on TFF (Thin Film Filter), is a passive DWDM device featuring high flexibility, easy upgradeability, and signal amplification. It supports optional monitor and 1310nm ports: the monitor port enables downtime-free troubleshooting, while the 1310nm port supports cost-effective channel expansion. Compliant with ITU‑T standards, it maximizes C-band capacity by adding or dropping selected 100GHz DWDM channels on 1 or 2 fibers while letting all non-terminated wavelengths pass through uninterrupted. This enables seamless aggregation of multi-site traffic without disrupting existing services. This product also supports FMU or FHD® plug-in module, 1U rack mount, and ABS module.
It supports 1G/10G/25G Ethernet, SDH/SONET, 1/2/4/8/16G Fiber Channel, FTTx, and CATV. When deployed with FS DWDM transceivers, OEO, EDFA, and Mux/Demux modules, it enables flexible network architectures ranging from simple point-to-point connections to amplified ring configurations.
