The LC UPC fiber optic connector is a multimode OM1/OM2/OM3/OM4/OM5 simplex fiber connector, compatible with 250µm and 900µm optical fibers, and 0.9mm, 2mm, and 3mm cordage. Each connector with separate boot kits is available for 0.9 and 2.0mm diameter style cables and the length fixing device is to ensure stripping fiber in the right range.
The field-installable connector is a factory pre-polished connector that eliminates the need for hand polishing in the field. Proven mechanical splice technology ensuring precision fiber alignment, a factory pre-cleaved fiber stub, and a proprietary index-matching gel combine to offer an immediate low-loss termination. Each connector is color-coded per industry-standard requirements to aid in identification during and after installation. It provides an ideal solution for optical cabling inside buildings and floors for LAN & CCTV applications and with the expansion of FTTH.
Please note that 0.9mm, 2.0mm, and 3.0mm diameter are for the same usage. If 0.9mm or 2.0mm is needed, just install the corresponding black boot kit.
