The FS-1260 Fiber Optic Splice Protection Sleeve is designed for single-fiber fusion splice protection, providing reliable mechanical reinforcement and environmental protection for splice points to ensure long-term connection stability. It is widely used in fiber splice closures, terminal boxes, and patch panels, making it suitable for routine splicing and maintenance in FTTx, access, and data communication networks.
The sleeve features a composite structure consisting of a cross-linked polyolefin heat-shrink outer tube, hot-melt inner tube, and a stainless steel reinforcing needle. After heat shrinking, it forms a tight, stable seal around the splice area, offering enhanced mechanical strength and protection against bending stress. The clear sleeve design allows easy splice inspection, while the sealed structure delivers excellent moisture resistance and temperature tolerance, ensuring reliable optical transmission over time.
