The FS-4012SR Fiber Optic Splice Protection Sleeve is designed for ribbon-fiber fusion splice protection, providing reliable mechanical reinforcement and environmental protection for splice points to ensure long-term connection stability. It is widely used in fiber splice closures, terminal boxes, and patch panels, making it suitable for routine splicing and maintenance in FTTx, access, and data communication networks.
The sleeve features a composite structure consisting of a cross-linked polyolefin heat-shrink outer tube, hot-melt inner tube, and a ceramic strength member. After heat shrinking, it forms a tight and stable seal around the splice area, while the ceramic reinforcement provides high rigidity and excellent resistance to bending and deformation, effectively protecting the fusion point from mechanical stress during installation and long-term operation. The clear sleeve design allows easy splice inspection, while the sealed structure delivers excellent moisture resistance and temperature tolerance, ensuring reliable optical transmission performance over time.
