FHX® series MTP® fiber cassette modules are pre-terminated and factory-tested, featuring a 12-fiber MTP® adapter at the rear routed to duplex LC shuttered adapters on the front patch field. They interconnect with high-density fiber cable assemblies for various applications. Specially designed shutter indents prevent direct contact with connector end faces, replacing traditional dust caps that are often not reinstalled, reducing dust contamination and potential damage. Universal polarity supports both ends of a Method B trunk, simplifying fiber network design and ensuring consistent polarity and easier maintenance. The MTP®-12 cassette enables high-density, cost-effective 10G deployment and seamless migration to 40G, 100G, and 400G. It supports up to 96 fiber connections in a single FHX® base-12 rack unit (1 RU).
