FHD® (FS High Density) series MTP® fiber cassette modules are pre-terminated, pre-tested, and come with 12-fiber MTP® adapters on the rear of the units routed to US Conec 3-port duplex MDC adapters on the front patch field. The US Conec 3-port adapter is designed to fit through the same cassette cutout defined for duplex LC adapters, allowing an instant 3x of the current cassette connector density.
QSFP-DD, QSFP28 or QSFP+ transceiver can be directly connected to MDC cassettes by MTP to MDC breakout cables. The cassette allows 192 fiber connections to be deployed in the FHD® series rack unit (1 RU).
