The 100G ZR QSFP28 DWDM pluggable transceiver is designed for high capacity 100GbE Ethernet Data Center Interconnect (DCI) optical communication applications up to 120km (unamplified) or 300km (amplified) links. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3™-2022 100GBASE-ZR, it ensures multi-vendor interoperability. The C-band tunable DCO transceiver supports 50GHz and 100GHz ITU DWDM grids and integrates TOF to suppress out-of-band noise, resulting in a cleaner optical spectrum, improved OSNR, and better transmission performance.
The module integrates an EDFA, enabling a high transmit optical output power of 0 dBm, and is supported by the FS DCS Series. The advanced performance and software integration of the 100G ZR series modules simplify configuration and management in converged packet-optical networks. With small size, lower power and cost-efficient specification, the 100G ZR modules deliver TCO benefits for access, metro, aggregation, and service edge network applications.
